Ditchling in Google Maps Street View

Users of Google maps may have noticed that the controversial 'Street View' images now include Ditchling, Keymer and Hassocks. The images appear to date from about May 2009.

At present the available images include Lewes Road up to the junction with Shirleys. Shirleys itself has not been included, although some quite minor roads such as Dymocks and East Gardens are included.

To view the images you simply find the location in Google Maps, then use the 'Satellite' button to see the aerial view. If you then use the 'zoom' buttons to zoom in on a location, the image switches to 'Street View' at maximum zoom level.
