Road Closures on Sat 19th & Sun 20th June

Saturday 19th June:

As part of Ditchling Fair, the High Street (B2112) is closed between 8am and 12.30pm for The Morning Fair, including the Jack and Jill Race. This is then followed by The Procession which starts at 1.45pm and finishes at approximately 2.15pm, following the ususal route: Long park Corner, Beacon Road, South Street, Lewes Road, East End Lane, High Street, ending in West Street.

Sunday 20th June:

The usual road closure arrangements for the London to Brighton Bike Ride will be in force from about 7.00am. This means the B2112 is closed from the Folders Lane roundabout all the way through Ditchling to the Beacon Road, which is also closed all the way across Ditchling Beacon.

Note that local residents and visitors to Garden Pride etc are allowed access by travelling in a south-bound direction only. The restrictions are usually eased at about 2.30 to 3.00pm, when the flow of bikes is much reduced.
