We are a Barcombe based Community Interest Company (not for profit) set up to support people with dementia and their families/carers in Sussex. Dementia is a national concern and it is very unusual if it hasn't touched most of our lives in some way. Therefore we feel that it is very important for communities to be aware of the services that may be available to them or someone they know in a time of need.
The therapeutic service we offer has the ultimate aim of living well with dementia, not just living. Our Activity Support Workers enable people with dementia to stay connected and engaged with their family, friends and local community by supporting them with homebased and/or community activities that may take a little more time and attention than conventional services or families can offer. We are not aware of any other provider of this type of service.
