No - they've closed temporarily for 'a refit and a change in retail direction'. They are due to reopen in 1st week of August. There is quite a debate going on about their future plans. I'll get a news item about this onto the website later today.

Ive looked on the Lewes planning portal & I cannot see an application for A3 use, I couldnt see any application for an alcohol consumption application

It is Lewes isnt it?

A Planning application was made last week & registered on Friday. Currently Lewes have not yet posted any of the planning documents. It is an application for A3 use with ancillary A1 retail use on the ground floor as there is already consent for A3 use at first floor
