Ditchling Cricket Club

Ditchling Cricket Club The Club was founded in 1816,although records show that cricket was being played in the village as early as the 1770s.

Today, the Club provides its 120 or so members with the opportunity to play and/or watch the game within an attractive village environment.

On Saturdays, the 1st and 2nd XIs play a good standard of competitive cricket in the Parker Building Supplies East Sussex League. Friendly cricket is played by our Saturday 3rd XI and on Sundays.

The highlight of the season is our Cricket Week in August, which is a festival of cricket. Five days of high-quality, all-day cricket accompanied by festivities in the evenings.

The Club welcomes new members.
