Ditchling Beacon and Commons is a registered charity thats promotes the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Ditchling Commons.

There are two commons in the Parish of Ditchling; Tenantry Down on Ditchling Beacon, located to the south of the village and Ditchling Common, located to the north of the village. The two Commons are located approximately two miles from the centre of the village.
